Oxford Kurdish community are devastated by Turkey's assault in the north of Syria. We get messages from friends and families about thousands of people fleeing and Turkish airstrikes on Kurdish towns.
We invite everyone to support our fight for human rights and stand for the civilians of Rojava at an emergency vigil on Friday 11th October 2019, at 7pm by Martyrs' Memorial in Oxford.
We ask all our friends and supporters to write to their representatives asking for an immediate ceasefire and protection of the civilians.
